     Established in 1950, Golden Cup Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. is among Thailand’s leading pharmaceutical manufacturers. For over 60 years, Golden Cup Pharmaceutical has served Thailand not only with a very well recognized “Golden Cup Balm”, but also with a number of modern pharmaceutical products under “Golden Cup” trademark.

     Nowadays, we have more than 150 employees. Golden Cup Pharmaceutical has grown from a family pharmaceutical producing shop in the 50s to a modern pharmaceutical factory in the 1970s and to a GMP-certified factory in 2000s (all departments). With a new plant completed in 2009, Golden Cup Pharmaceutical is now having its production capability increase and also targeting PIC/S (EU standard).

     Since 1970, Golden Cup’s pharmaceutical products have been exported to many countries. Golden Cup’s pharmaceutical products, especially the Golden Cup Balm, can be found in major oriental markets across the world. Golden Cup is the top-of-mind brand when it comes to balm(ACNielsen, 2014). In modern medicine balm market, Golden Cup is the leader with estimated market share of 73% (ACNielsen, 2014), it is undeniably the strongest brand in its segment.
